For XBOX's new line of controllers and headsets, our friends at TenGun reached out to enlist our very unique set of skills - an eye for digital aesthetics, a grasp of CG workflows and tools, and an extensive background in cmyk prepress. You don't find that every day.

THE CHALLENGE

We needed to bring the CG assets together in post for a flawless integration at large-scale high res. CG compositing for premium products can only go so far, the rest is up to retouchers who know how to work with CG. We were also tasked with precision color output in both RGB and CMYK. With everyone working, reviewing, and proofing remotely, we had to figure out a workflow to minimize rounds to get consistent approvals. 

THE APPROACH

We utilized a by-the-numbers approach to achieve cmyk product-accurate color. Stakeholders needed to sign off on printed proofs as these were being used for packaging as well as in-store. With everyone remote, we set up a workflow that had us all speaking the same language and turning around approvals quickly.
